As a Machinist 1 at Nov Inc, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery, including CNC lathes, milling machines, and grinding equipment. You will ensure that all machinery is calibrated and functioning optimally to meet production standards. Daily tasks include setting up and running production jobs, monitoring machinery performance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of our production line, and your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality products to our customers.
📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan
- Operate and maintain various types of machinery including CNC lathes, milling machines, and grinding equipment
- Set up and run production jobs according to specifications
- Monitor machinery performance and ensure optimal functioning
- Troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues promptly
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of machinery
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production targets
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity
🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Machinist
- Proficient in operating CNC machines and other advanced manufacturing equipment
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Mastercam
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Valid certification in machinery operation and maintenance (preferred)
- Knowledge of quality control processes and standards
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others
